I rented the 1982 film "Sophie's Choice" a while ago, where a still very young Kevin (he was 35 at the time) can be seen.

After watching the film, I made a total of 75 screencaps of Kevin. I will post 4 of those under the LJ-cut. I hope you will all enjoy viewing them. :)

Here they are!Collapse )

If you liked what you saw, then you can download all 75 screencaps, if you want. I've put them in a WinRAR-archive (.rar) and uploaded it at MegaUpload. The file can be downloaded from the following link:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5J8P1V0D

I did not alter the archived screencaps in any way, save for converting them from .bitmap (which is far too big) to .png. The quality remains very high.

I would personally appreciate it if you left a comment here, so that I know who has been downloading it. Thank you very much in advance. :)

Well, that's it - enjoy! :D

Kevin Kline Wants To Pen A Movie Score
www.starpulse.com

Kevin Kline is on the hunt for a film to score after getting a taste for movie music composition on the set of A Prairie Home Companion.

The actor, who plays Guy Noir in the film, was given the task of penning a piano piece for the movie by director Robert Altman, who was impressed with Kline's musical skills on set - and now he's hungry for more.

Kline says, "I would love to do a film score. There is one scene where you hear a piano and that's my music that is under a scene that I'm not in, so I delude myself that I wrote part of the score. "When I was studying music I wanted to be a film composer at one time. It's like ballet movement and image to music."

Perfect Gifts, According to Phoebe Cates
www.abcnews.go.com

June 1, 2006 — Many people may remember Phoebe Cates from 1980s films like "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" and "Gremlins."

More than two decades later, she has found her true calling in life and runs the Blue Tree, a gift boutique on New York City's Madison Avenue.

Cates, who is married to actor Kevin Kline and has three children, Owen, Greta and Autumn, lives on New York City's Upper East Side. She opened the shop with friend Lisa Matlin. At the store, she is in her element, able to brainstorm and find the perfect, often-unexpected gift her patrons are seeking.

Cates has become well-known for her ability to select just the right gift for any recipient and now offers tips for "Good Morning America's" viewers.

(Who the hell is Autumn? lol, I thought they only had two kids. And Kevin said a couple months ago that pregnancy rumor was wrong.)

'NBC Nightly News' in St. Paul
www.twincities.com

Not only will the Hollywood stars of "A Prairie Home Companion" movie be in St. Paul on Wednesday, media stars will be here, too.

Brian Williams will be broadcasting "NBC Nightly News" live Wednesday from the Centennial Showboat on the Mississippi River with the St. Paul skyline in the background, according to a St. Paul city official.

All the hubbub is because of the local premiere of "Prairie Home," which was filmed at the Fitzgerald Theater in downtown St. Paul last summer. The private premiere will be at the Fitz Wednesday night.

The public can see stars from the movie riding in horse-drawn carriages from the St. Paul Hotel to the Fitz on Wabasha at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Look for "A Prairie Home Companion" writer Garrison Keillor, director Robert Altman, and actors Kevin Kline, Lindsay Lohan, Virginia Madsen, John C. Reilly, Meryl Streep and Lily Tomlin.

Heya,

So I was helping my friend work on her acting resume when I noticed a very interesting entry:
" The emperor's Club- cheerleader"

Apparently Emperor's club was shot in her high school and her hall was used for the dorm scenes. She would stay up and watch them film and started talking to Kevin one night. He did a scene from fish called Wanda for her and couldn't stop talking about his kids. I believe the term she used was "nicest guy ever"

Stories like this get a reply from me of "... I hate you!"

Phoebe Cates, sittin' in Blue Tree
USATODAY

Phoebe Cates knows what's in store.

Since becoming a full-time shopkeeper last fall with the opening of her uptown gift shop, Blue Tree, the actress and mother of two is equally at home behind a cash register as on a movie set. In fact, since her last movie was 2001's The Anniversary Party, which she did for her best friend, Jennifer Jason Leigh, perhaps the register is more to her liking.

"I always wanted to have a general store," she says. "If I could have had a photo booth and sold candy, I would have."

She is among a handful of celebrities who are opening boutiques. While Jennifer Lopez and Gwen Stefani venture into clothing design, other stars, such as Cates and Lisa Rinna, who owns two shops in the L.A. area, are trying out retail.

Cates' shop carries hot cocoa and ruby slippers downstairs, upscale shawls and dresses on the second floor. The red sequined Mary Janes by Coastal Projections, Cates says, are a $55 ode to her daughter Greta, now 12: "That was the only shoe she would wear (as a child). She'd always go, 'Toto shoes!' " Cates says with a laugh.
